The detection rate of this anatomic abnormality has improved with the introduction of the upper mediastinum views in routine fetal ultrasonographic evaluation. The following casereport demonstrates a fetus affected by an isolated right aortic arch emphasizing the importance of the five Yagel views of the fetal heart.
